Well.. it looks like I am close to the end. I think I played a good game.
I found myself 1 solid ally and stuck with him til the end. Allan and I pretty much controlled this whole game. I'm not sure if anyone even realized how tight the 2 of us were.
We worked so well at building the alliance around us.. making side deals to make sure things go our way... figuring out who we could and couldn't trust, etc. And our strategies were flawless.
We could very well be the greatest duo in Survivor: Americas history
I think my only regret was getting James' hopes up when the vote was between him and Bret. It forced Bret to have more respect for me since I stayed by his side.. But I let James down.
I did not regret voting against Kirin. She lied to me so much this game.
I did not regret getting rid of Kyle either. I really liked him as a friend, but I was very suspicious of him. Something wasn't right. And after I voted him out, he admitted that he wasn't going to stick with me and Allan. So I made the right move. Kyle was the one person that knew how tight Allan and I were.
Smart moves:
Sticking with Allan. Best ally I have ever had. We are amazing together.
Using Kanga as the 3rd man was also a good move. He likes us both, and doesn't really have any power in the game. He just votes how his alliance tells him to.
Deciding to vote out Kyle was also smart. He played this game hard, and I know he would have been smart enough to break apart me and Allan.
When I had doubts about Kyle, I quickly snatched James as a new ally. He was clearly on the outs and I wanted him before anyone else tried recruiting him. If Kyle was to turn against me, James would have been my backup ally.
Getting rid of Kirin at final 5 instead of Bret. It may not come into play, but we took Bret with us just because he has past votes, and if it comes down to a tie (2-2), he will be gone due to past votes.
Dumb moves:
Getting James' hopes up and then letting him down by voting him out. Hopefully it doesnt cost me a jury vote if I make it that far.
